Akshay Kumar has been constantly giving huge box-office hits for past years along with achieving critics as well as audience appreciations. Currently, Akshay Kumar is enjoying the success of his last release Padman featuring him along Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles. The film appears to be again path breaker and loved by critics as well as the audience. Bollywood is entertaining so many clashes on box-office where small films not try to get released with huge cast power movies. Recently, clash between Aiyaari and Padman was into headlines.
Akshay Kumar though doesn’t think that way.
He recently was asked about the possible clash of his next release Gold with Kangana Ranaut featured Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. He said that there is nothing like clash, it is not possible to get solo release for every film release in India.
He said “Yeh clash kya hota hai? (What is this clash?). You guys use this term as if we are fighting with each other.”He also added “Our film industry releases approximately 180 films each year. We do not have as many theaters. So some films will have to release together. There is no harm in it. Also, we have only 52 weeks. So it is not possible for each film to have solo release dates. Some films will have to release in the same week.”
